
Kelly A. Manchester (f/k/a McKown)
President
Kelly has been in the legal profession for 30 years, the last 21 of which have been in the corporate services industry. She started her career as a litigation paralegal with various law firms in Denver and Kansas City where she specialized in personal injury, medical malpractice and product liability law. She served in the Air National Guard and US Air Force Reserves as an Aeromedical Evacuation Technician on the C-130 aircraft and served overseas in Operation Desert Storm in 1990.
She has been very active in local and national affairs within the legal profession. She served on the Delaware Supreme Court's Board on Professional Responsibility hearing attorney discipline matters and is currently serving on the Colorado Supreme Court's Character and Fitness Committee reviewing bar applications. She served on the Board of Directors of the National Federation of Paralegal Associations (NFPA) for three years. In July 1996, she was one of the first paralegals to receive NFPA’s PACE Registered Paralegal (RP) designation.
Kelly served on the Board of Directors of the industry association, National Public Records Research Association (NPRRA), for six years and served as President from 2010-2011. She also served on the Board of Directors of the Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce for four years and served as Chairman of the Board in 2011.
She received an AAS degree in Legal Assistant from Arapahoe Community College in Littleton, Colorado, as well as a BA degree in Journalism with a minor in Paralegal Studies from The Metropolitan State University of Denver. Kelly has boy-girl twins who were born in 2001. Her favorite activities are downhill snow skiing in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Colorado and riding her motorcycle (BMW K1600 GT) with friends. Kelly has been on the Mountain Safety Patrol (non-medical arm of ski patrol) with the Copper Mountain ski resort since 2011.

Emilie La Plante
Colorado Operations Manager
Emilie joined the Corp1 Team in August of 2021 and has been in the industry for 4 years; previously working for Search Company International. She is currently a Corporate Specialist and Office Manager whose expertise is Legal Researching. Emilie has been a Colorado notary since 2019 and truly enjoys creating a strong professional relationship with clients and vendors. Emilie has twin boys who she spends most of her time with and enjoys hiking, camping, and attending events with her children.

Kylie Conrad
Nationwide Operations Manager
Kylie joined Corp1 in February 2019 following her graduation from Indiana University where she was a member of the Kappa Delta Sorority and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Policy Analysis. She works in the Colorado office and enjoys connecting with clients and industry contacts to form new companies or modify their current structure.
Kylie became a commissioned officer in the US Navy Reserves in 2021.

Javier Chavez Valles
Corporate Specialist
Javier joined the Corp1 team in August of 2021 coming from reception experience. He enjoys providing awesome service to our clients as a Corporate Specialist while also assisting our operations manager Emilie La Plante in the Colorado office. Javier is a Texas native but has been living in Colorado for over 5 years and loves the state. In his spare time Javier enjoys live music shows, hiking and traveling.

Tanya Edis
Corporate Specialist
Tanya is a Colorado native but lived in Wyoming for some time before coming back! She has been a Public Notary since 2020 and for 11 years was in the mortgage lending world. She has experience reviewing loan documents and completing mobile mortgage refinance and purchase closings.
Tanya has 2 cuddly dogs and 4 boys and loves yoga, reading, and spending time with her family.

Emily McKown
Assistant Comptroller
Emily is Kelly Manchester's daughter. Emily is currently enrolled in the 4+1 Accounting program at the University of Colorado at Denver and will graduate in the fall of 2024 with a combination BS/MS in Accounting.
Emily works remotely for the Corp1 Delaware Team from the Colorado office supporting the Finance Team.

Samantha Peck
Corporate Assistant/SOP Intake
Samantha joined the Corp1 Team in June of 2022 and has six years of prior work experience. With much of her work and volunteering activities contributing to the public. Her previous job working for Jefferson County Public Libraries allowed her to gain expertise in library catalog systems and extensive knowledge in filing. She is currently pursuing a bachelors degree in Aviation & Aerospace Management at MSU Denver and is in the process of getting her Private Pilot License. In her spare time, she enjoys mountain biking, art & crafts, and working on cars with her dad.

Honoring Dan Denham
Former Corp1 EVP & Former President of Search Company International
Dan ran Search Company International, a Colorado search & Registered Agent company for over 30 years. He was President of the NPRRA and served on its Board of Directors for 6 years. He sold Search Company to Corp1 in 2021 and retired in 2022. Dan is respected across the industry for his gentle guidance and never ending smile! Here's to endless days of tennis, golf and family time!
