Kelly has been in the legal profession for 30 years, the last 21 of which have been in the corporate services industry. She started her career as a litigation paralegal with various law firms in Denver and Kansas City where she specialized in personal injury, medical malpractice and product liability law. She served in the Air National Guard and US Air Force Reserves as an Aeromedical Evacuation Technician on the C-130 aircraft and served overseas in Operation Desert Storm in 1990.

She has been very active in local and national affairs within the paralegal profession, and served on the Board of Directors of the National Federation of Paralegal Associations (NFPA) for three years. In July 1996, she was one of the first paralegals to receive NFPA’s PACE Registered Paralegal (RP) designation.

Kelly served on the Board of Directors of the industry association, National Public Records Research Association (NPRRA), for six years and served as President from 2010-2011. She also served on the Board of Directors of the Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce for four years and served as Chairman of the Board in 2011. Most notably, Kelly served on the Delaware Supreme Court's Board on Professional Responsibility for four years. This board oversees attorney discipline for all members of the Delaware Bar. She is currently serving a seven year term on the Colorado Supreme Court's Character and Fitness Committee reviewing Colorado Bar applications and attending hearings.

She received an AAS degree in Legal Assistant from Arapahoe Community College in Littleton, Colorado, as well as a BA degree in Journalism with a minor in Paralegal Studies from The Metropolitan State University of Denver. Kelly has boy-girl twins who were born in 2001. Her favorite activities are downhill snow skiing in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Colorado and riding her motorcycle (BMW K1600 GT) with friends. Kelly has been on the Mountain Safety Patrol (non-medical arm of ski patrol) with the Copper Mountain ski resort since 2011.

Dan Denham

Dan has been in the industry for 22 years and joined Corp1 in August 2021 after his company, Search Company International was acquired. His expertise lies in researching public records at the state and county levels both in Colorado and Nationwide.

Dan served as President 2009-2010 and as a board member of NPRRA, for 6 years. He has been a member of the Colorado Secretary of State’s Advisory Board since 1999 that advises the Secretary’s office regarding business matters that arise in their office.

He received a BS in Business Finance with a minor in Marketing from Colorado State University in 1975. He also, owned and operated a printing company in Aurora, Co for 10 years before acquiring Search Company.

Dan has a big family (5 children and 7 grandchildren) that keeps him extremely busy interacting with all their different needs, wants and desires. When he does manage to find some free time he likes to read, play tennis and to garden a little- when his wife lets him.

Emilie joined the Corp1 Team in August of 2021 and has been in the industry for 4 years; previously working for Search Company International. She is currently a Corporate Specialist and Office Manager whose expertise is Legal Researching. Emilie has been a Colorado notary since 2019 and truly enjoys creating a strong professional relationship with clients and vendors. Emilie has twin boys who she spends most of her time with and enjoys hiking, camping, and attending events with her children.

Kylie joined Corp1 in February 2019 following her graduation from Indiana University where she was a member of the Kappa Delta Sorority and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Policy Analysis. She works in the Colorado office and enjoys connecting with clients and industry contacts to form new companies or modify their current structure.

Mianne Besser

Mianne contributes over 20 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal to Corp1, Inc. She has a background in multiple disciplines, with a focus in litigation; she als has extensive trial experience and is well-versed in eDiscovery. Mianne received a BA in Management and Business Administration from the University of Phoenix; and a paralegal certificate from the Denver Paralegal Institute, an ABA-approved program. She is engaged in national legal and paralegal matters serving as the Secretary and Director of Leadership for the National Federation of Paralegal Associations, Inc. as well as Region Director, Region II, Chair of the State of the Paralegal Profession, and Special Projects Coordinator. At the local level, Mianne served in a variety of positions for the Rocky Mountain Paralegal Association, including two non-consecutive terms as President, President-elect, Board Advisor, and NFPA Primary Representative. Mianne’s additional professional affiliations include the American Alliance of Paralegals, Inc. and Women in eDiscovery. Mianne is an invited CLE speaker for NFPA, RMPA and the Institute for Paralegal Education (IPE). She has been interviewed for her perspective on the paralegal profession by Andrew Morkes (College & Career Press), Laurel Vietzen (Practical Contract Law for Paralegals, 3d. Edition), and She has authored, or co-authored, articles which were printed in the National Paralegal Reporter and Trial Talk. While serving as NFPA’s Special Projects Coordinator, she authored two White Papers, “Legal Process Outsourcing” and “Ethical Considerations for Paralegals and Social Media”. Ms. Besser is active in her community serving as a member of the Community College of Aurora’s Paralegal Advisory Committee. She has also been involved in planned giving events benefitting many local organizations including The Gathering Place, Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado, and Free the Girls. Mianne enjoys hiking, camping and road-tripping with her husband and spending time with her family.

My name is Javier Chavez and I was born and raised in El Paso Tx. I moved to Colorado back in 2018 and fall in love with this state more and more each day. I started off working as a receptionist for attorneys before starting my journey with Corp1. On my free time I do enjoy the outdoors when the weather is nice like hiking and swimming. I also enjoy music a lot and love going to concerts and I love to eat all types of foods especially Mexican dishes.

Samantha Peck

Samantha joined the Corp1 Team in June of 2022 and has six years of prior work experience. With much of her work and volunteering activities contributing to the public. Her previous job working for Jefferson County Public Libraries allowed her to gain expertise in library catalog systems and extensive knowledge in filing. She is currently pursuing a bachelors degree in Aviation & Aerospace Management at MSU Denver and is in the process of getting her Private Pilot License. In her spare time, she enjoys mountain biking, art & crafts, and working on cars with her dad.
