What is an Aircraft Trust?
An aircraft trust, also known as an aviation trust, is a legal agreement to manage ownership of an aircraft. The trust allows an aircraft owner to appoint a third party to hold the title of their aircraft while the beneficiary retains ownership and operational control over the aircraft.
How does an aircraft trust work?
Aircraft can only be registered by a US citizen in the US with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Corp1, Inc. has years of experience providing Aircraft Trust and Nominee Director services for foreign individuals wishing to register an aircraft in the US with the FAA. Corp1 will form a Delaware corporation to own the aircraft, prepare the necessary trust documents, and appoint the Nominee Director to act on behalf of the corporation.
